Mortgage: Open Mortgage
Open Mortgage is a mortgage company that is an online multi state lender, mortgage broker and mortgage banker. This company specializes in all the forms of a residential mortgage. It is a private company and was founded in the year 2003. The CEO of this company is Scott Gordon and the CFO is Richard Woodruff. The company is headquartered in Austin, Texas. Open Mortgage is also an approved member of the Federal Housing Administration.
In the year 2002 the company G2 Financial was founded. Scott Gordon later departed and he then opened the Open Mortgage company. The company started business with two employees and one office. Scott Gordon instead of using other methods decided to use the CABO method which is web based software platform. The financial crisis of the past few years have helped Open Mortgage. It has saw strong growth. It has now grown to be a mortgage broker and banker of 19 states as well as offering Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae loans.
CABO which is what Scott Gordon decided to use for his company started out as a database that allowed officers to place their borrowers on a 7 year automated post closing campaign. The CABO program has since transformed into a system which handles most of the communications and tools to complete all of the loan process. These features also allow the branch manager or the owners to be able to track the accounts constantly at any time of the day. The CABO program also allows client borrowers to pay online. Just about all of the aspects of the company are ran through the program. This makes it easier to keep up with clients and accounts. This is a safer way to do mortgages as well as takes out any human errors that may occur.
